In week’s edition of the Prairie View at Village West Blog, we’ve gathered a short list of crime-based shows we think you should watch to pass the time. Settle into your comfortable couch in your Kansas City, KS apartment and enjoy some good television!

White Collar
Crime. Law. When the law and criminals work together, much can be accomplished. This is the case in White Collar, where Neal Caffrey, a multi-talented con artist, teams up with FBI Special Agent Peter Burke to catch criminals as part of a work-release program. Experience the difficulties Special Agent Burke has to go through in dealing with a man whose nature is to subvert the law and look out for number one — himself. Witness the relationship between the law and criminal as they work together, can they learn to trust each other?

Sherlock
Set in London, this series follows the adventures of Sherlock Holmes and his partner, John Watson, in a modern-day take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s character of the same name. As a “consulting detective,” Sherlock gained notoriety as a proficient detective using his skills in observation and deduction/induction while aiding the Scotland Yard in solving crimes with the aid of John Watson. Watch as Sherlock and Watson solve crimes and come face to face with England’s worst criminals! Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are wonderful in this series that’s sure to keep you coming back for more.

Criminal Minds
Have you ever wondered what it’s like at the FBI?
