Your Prairie View at Village West apartment is a great place to host a game night with family and friends. In today’s post, we’ll be sharing some group games to play. We hope you enjoy a fun night at your apartment here in Kansas City, KS.

Phase 10

Phase 10 is a game based on phases or rounds with specific goals for each phase. Each player takes turns drawing and discarding a card on their turn. They try to achieve the goal for that round and if they do so, they lay down their cards. Once they’ve laid down for that phase, they can play their remaining hand on others’ cards. Find this game online or at a local store!

Golf is a game using face cards. The goal of the game is to get the least amount of points. To set this game up, each player is given 9 cards. Without looking at their cards, each player places them in a grid face-down. They can then flip over 2-3 of their cards of their choice. They then take turns choosing a card from the deck in the center of the table and making their move. On each player's turn, they can replace the card they picked up, with a card in their grid. Never Have I Ever

This is a great way to break the ice between people who don’t know each other. There are a few ways you could play this. For the more relaxed version, you could all sit in a circle and hold up ten fingers. Each person then takes turns completing the “never have I ever” sentence with something they haven’t done. Whoever has done that thing must put down a finger. Whoever is the last person to have a finger up at the end wins!

Codenames is a great game to play with friends. It takes some thinking and brain power combined together with your team to win. It’s a card game where one team member is trying to get their team to guess certain words on the cards that are laid out. Using just one word, you try to get them to guess it correctly.
